Exactly. I've had it happen in hangouts too, I just find it really annoying when it does. It is one of my pet peeves so to say. :}

True but it can take some time and in the mean time a thread can end up a bit deserted. :}

Oh I've seen those as well. They give me some hesitation to post in as I always feel like I'm butting in. :}
