The only odd thing I have about using Skins is, that when I go to my wardrobe to get changed, I sometimes think my basic avi looks weird, as I'm not used to seeing it like that. :}

i think the skins thing is only if you were trading. i was changing skins in my own wardrobe, it was fine. i haven't read up on what firn said tho. ^^;

I do believe it was about trading from one gender to an other.
Plus Skins don't alter if you have a stored avi. So if you made the avi when you were male it doesn't work when you try to wear the avi when you are female and vica versa. :}
