Happy is very English.

I mean more like
FlowerRuby wrote:I never notice but not a lot of people speak Russian here.

Obviously not in the main fora. Because no one would understand them.
But if you check the Hangout, you see nothing but Russian.
The same goes for French, Finnish, Spanish, Polish... Only German and Dutch are flying low everywhere.
That I am speaking both has nothing to do with it. Nothing, you hear? 8U
Anyway it's a bit crazy to assume that there are no people from a certain country here just because you don't see the language everywhere. The main language is still English here and polite people follow that. :')

I took the "not many people speak Russian" more like not many people have it as second language. Errrr.
That makes two English then. Yay, they exist.

So Dutch and Germans are impolite
(I've seen some Polish too. Ha!)

Oh. I have this guy here.
I'm not sure about the pink but the original sketch was pink. And ama wants flamingo and ... two pink Knuffel. Waaaah.

Oh! I think she definitely meant it as a mother language. :')
And Russian seems to be a hard language to learn. Though I believe LittleJulez once told me she can read a little in Russian. She's native Russian, but she came to Germany when she was really, really young - Nihal was older and she doesn't speak a bit of the language. Don't know if that counts. :p

I just hope I'll be able to learn it one day. But for what I've figured out up to now Japanese would be easier xD
What I really, really hope is that airlines give languages courses. That would be overly awesome and win-win.

There are certainly more English but I've forgotten who they were ^_^;;

And yes, we are very impolite xD
Always been, no? :p

A flamingo!!
Love it :D

Don't know but a lot of people who study Japanese stuff at university can't really speak proper Japanese in the end, seems to be really hard to learn :/
I took one semester of Russian. Now I can read cyrillic but that's it, really. I passed the exam but I can't say a straight sentence in Russian. Not that this means anything, just think it really needs some time to learn it and at university they just rush through it >.>

Do you need to learn any language for flying? Isn't it all English?

This is not the flamingo. That's why I'm not sure about the pink xD
It's a vampire with a club. And because this is so stupid I thought he should be pink. Maybe I can make it purple instead.

Of course. It's university.
You see, I am really convinced that you can't learn how to speak a language at a school. The best way is to go to that country and interact with people. You can learn the basics, the grammar, the words at a school, but to polish it you really need to go there and interact with the native speakers full-time. That's also how you go from textbook language to street language.
That's also why I hate it when Germans start speaking to me in English. I don't have that much time to hang around in Germany, don't waste it by telling me words I already know! :')

...you could choose Russian? o.O

Yeah nowadays it's all English, you can't become a pilot without learning to speak at least Aviation English.
Obviously I'm more worried about my math skills. :qt:

....I am disappointed.

I was talking in America not on the site :qhehe:

I seen a lot of races here but Russians are rare here. I seen people from many part of Europe (not Russia but I am not 100% sure, people are mix a lot), Middle East, Asia, Africa,Mexico, Central America (Costa Rica) South America, and weird island like Haiti, Solomon, Philippine, Indonesia etc.

Math is awesome and way better than English. =D

@Cyan: Pink Flamingo look kinda evil but he he look great. I like the hair a lot.

I suck at math. I rock at English.

I don't meet many Russians either, but either they hide well, or they just stick to their country.

I always had at least one in my class at school. And it was not always the same. .... Yeah former Eastern bloc, of course we have Russians here :mcomg:

@Merry: In school we could choose between Latin, French and Russian but nobody took Russian (thanks to our parents who kept telling us that it is useless)
Btw do you have to learn German in the Netherlands? because so many Dutch seem to speak German and almost no German speaks Ducth... Sounds unfair o.o

@Ruby: Nonononononononoooooo Flamingo. Vampire. That's why his eyes don't have this white ... light ... glance ... .... aaaaaah stupid English language >.<
.....
I changed his colour. Here no Flamingo.

I can tell since you speak so many languages which required a good understanding of grammar. There always an answer in math without some stupid rule to say there always an exception. :qg:

I look it up and they live in Missouri, so I am guessing CA is too warm for them. :qsweat:

@cyan: wait so he a vampire? make more sense now. Interesting clothes and color choice. Is he going to get paler?

Science call it sclera but most people think the white part is the iris or something like that.

No I mean the light reflections. The white dots you draw so the eyes don't look lifeless.
I'm half braindead at the moment sorry for more stupidness than usual u___u

And yes I wanted to give him a light grey skin. If I continue on him, don't feel like it at the moment.
