I liked nature a lot, too, and I love the plague eyecolor for some dragons a lot, but I like how the wind eyes go not too badly with almost anything. I like the idea of shadow as well, but I rejected it directly because I don't like the eyecolor at all. It doesn't fit most color schemes I like. I didn't like the rotting theme of plague too much, that's why I didn't consider it despite the nice color.

I was sure argo would choose nature till the very end. ok let's be honest, I wanted her to choose nature but felt she would choose plague anyway XD

oh under appearance I mean the desing of their areas, header, eggs and nesting grounds. I crossed out plague because of both eyes (don't like red) and the rest of the desing. then I crossed our arcane because of eyecolor (don't like pink) and because it's one of the largest flights. I wanted to join one of the smallest to bring a bit of "harmony" into the world XD
size is also mainly why shadow was lacking points, another reason was the describtion that is cool but is not quite what I want right now. kind of your case, Chrizine :)
it was also important what the dragons of the element were collecting, nature lost here.

when all the "total no" flights were crossed out I was left with earth, water, light, ice, lightning, shadow. and the analytical part began (kind of what a lighning dragon would do, lol): I gave elements scores for parts of design and lore I liked. and then, since water and light were very close, I asked my nest friend, if she ever were to borrow a nest in my lair, what eye color would she prefer (out of all the 5, so she didn't know what I was choosing from), and this is how I picked water. but I really wanted my custom dragon to have light yellow eyes and decided to start as light and switch to water at once. but, as said in above posts all the research effort put into the process of choosing hinted at my real likeness to light flight. water flight seems more trusting the intuition in making their predictions

so putting too much effort into choosing has it's own drawbacks and doesn't always bring what it's expected too XD

now that we are at the topic, how happy are each of you with your choice right now? do you hang out with your flight a lot? or just for dominance?

I picked fire for flight because whenever I take one of those element quizzes I get fire... I always get fire... But I don't know any in my flight just those from here that told me about FR...

I chose Nature as my flight, but it was kind of a toss-up between it and Arcane. I live on a farm and have been very close to the natural world all my life so Nature fit very well. I did like the colors and the dreamer aspect of Arcane, though. I found another KofK friend is also a member of Nature so we've been chatting.

I simply chose the one that appealed to me the most, that being lightning. I didn't think to hard about it.

I chose the Shadow Flight because I like dark things.

I guess plague and shadow are so popular because they are "dark/evil" flights. I've heard there are also more random people and trolls there compared to other flights
