Omg. I would die if I ran over an animal. I'm always terrified any time any creature is near my car when I'm driving. It's so scary!
Did I tell you about that one time my husband was driving?
We were leaving our driveway and it was warm so we had the windows down. So he was backing up, turning his head one way, the opposite of the house. Suddenly we hear this tiny voice. Kevin promptly slammed on the breaks and we both had heart attacks. We jerk our heads towards the house and right outside of Kevin's window was a little girl. She was close enough to the window to touch. She couldn't have been more than eight and we were both like WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING????? YOU COULD HAVE DIED! WHERE ARE YOUR GODDAMNED PARENTS!!???? She was going door to door selling shit for school! They tell you all the time not to go door to door. And these kids were alone! (there were two) We thought we had run over a kid. It was so stressful. I'm getting stressed just remembering it.
