I have no idea
I think they mean the lizard people are aliens or like you said; evolved from lizards/ dinosaurs. I think they also think that the lizard people can look exactly like us if they put on a human mask. (this is going by some images I saw while googling it). But to me that wouldn't make sense because lizards have different facial features and wouldn't have the same facial structure .__.

It really does. But think about it, if people can believe in the stories of Jesus Christ and how the world was created by God, people can believe anything.
A woman was made out of a mans rib
The Earth was made in 7 days and nights
There are human-like lizards who walk among us
Now don't get me wrong, I am not saying that none of this is false, but I am not saying any of this is true either. If it doesn't hurt them, or the people around them, I believe people can pretty much believe in whatever they want.
And I am not a hater to religions, I just think some of the things are far-fetched

Hear, hear

that was really my only bone to pick with blind beliefs- that when there's belief without rationality in some cases especially where morality is concerned, someone or the other ends up getting hurt.

Wha? me? Well, I am wary of talking about religion with others because I have always been told to not talk about 2 things with others; Politics and religion.
Because these two topics people can be very opinionated and get agitated while being opposed with a different view.
I spent a lot of time trying to not sound like I was bashing religions (Especially catholic/ christian cause that was the examples I used)

Don't worry. You can always talk to me about those subjects. I have my opinions, I just don't force them on others. :}

I am pretty chilled while talking to other people cause I get that people have other opinions which can oppose mine.
And it's good that you don't force them on others, I worry when I teach that I might force my own opinions to the students. I don't really think I will, but you know, I am just worried

As a teacher you will always influence your students. All you can do is hope that it is an influence for the better. :}

I want them to be able to think for themselves and to believe that even though they think something and someone else has another opinion that it is okay.
