nah i'm not gonna take the risk. besides, its easier to keep downstairs. in the yard, it will get more direct sunlight than upstairs on the balcony. and lotus plants need like a lot of hours of direct sunlight. xD;;

its for convenience sake. the balcony has an awning which means there will be times where there's no direct sunlight. lotus needs direct sunlight practically all day. xD

Keep your plants in a cage/mesh/wire thing that they can't scratch thru. :3

I guess it depends on how sturdy it was. It would have to be some serious hardcore material for sure. Bc if her cats are anything like Kibben... that boy does NOT give up EVER. x_x
