Is she from a fairy tale?

She definitely looks fairy tale-ish. Reminds me of the story of the girl whose brothers get turned into swans and she has to weave shirts out of nettles for them to lift the curse... Something along those lines, it's been a while since I last read that one.

I remember that! And she's not allowed to say a single word the whole time, and a Prince comes and marries her and she has three kids and the Prince's mother or stepmother is jealous and steals the kids and pricks their fingers and puts the blood on her lips and she's about to be burnt at the stake as a wish when her brothers come to rescue her, and she's not quite finished with the sweaters so the last one is stuck with one swan wing the rest of his life.


And I always wanted to know the story of the rest of his life!

Yes, that's exactly the story I was talking about! :) Although I didn't remember quite as many details before you wrote them :)
But I definitely remember the no speaking rule and that the youngest (I believe?) brother was left with one swan wing because she couldn't finish his shirt.

She could also be from swan lake - the swans and the lake fit ;)
But I don't remember any significant puffy sleeves...

Edit: note she has swan parts herself Although if you were really stubborn, you could say it's the swan lake XD But I had something other in mind as I've never seen swan lake
