Aw, but the original is almost a cult classic at this point. I don't know that I can really get behind all these reboots. Some of them are fine, but they don't hold that same sort of magic that the originals do.
Yikes, those dentists sound awful! It's baffling how there are unprofessional practitioners who get less than a slap on the wrist while they ruin someone's life.

Not sure if it's a reboot/remake or a sequel, from the title I'm guessing its a sequel. Like Tron and Tron Legacy.
I don't mind remakes, as long as they're done well. I also don't mind different types of adapting stuff either, again as long as it's done well.

Magical~ \8u/
Worst experience with me was this dentist giving me an injection and he hit a nerve or something because it HURT. I don't even flinch when I get injections, so I don't know what he did but it was so painful >__>
I'm kinda negative on remakes/reboots. Mostly because what they're trying to reboot/remake is a product of its time.
Like the 90s classics - you can never remake them and get the same nostalgia because the 90s is over.

ono my novel update app isn't working on the kindle anymore... -cries-
o3o you know people do the same with music, except we call those 'covers' x3
Sweet Dreams .. I prefer Manson's version over it's original. Same with his version of Suicide is Painless (mash opening)

Covers are okay with me. There's a few that I like 8u
It's because music is timeless.

Movies are timeless too oAo
Yanno.. Dracula, Frankinstien, Stagecoach... a lot of movies have been remade over the years, I think 3 ten to Uma or whateverits called has a remake or two...
Wonder when someone's gonna put their hands on Gone with the Wind, Fried Green Tomatoes, Green Mile.....
Stagecoach (john wayne) was well done and I lovedit
Stagecoach (johnny cash) was meh... the only reason I watch it is because of willy nelson.. and chris kristofferson... o3o Got the movie for mom because of Cash... xD

I don't think they're all timeless.
Some movies just don't stand up the more time passes.
Some movies are timeless, though.
I still enjoy the original House on Haunted Hill with Vincent Price.
The special effects are outdated, but the setting, music, acting, and sound are all still good.

haven't seen that one o3o
xD same could be said with music! but for different reasons =w=, (back in the day, just because one could write songs doesn't mean they should be singing the songs)

You don't like horror much, do you? If you ever get the chance, you should watch the movie.
It scared the hell out of me as a child u8
With music, no matter how old it is - I can still enjoy it.
Like yeah, it's old as dirt but still enjoyable.
Like "In the Still of the Night" - I LOVE that song but it's so old.
There are movie remakes I do like.
There's also sequels I like.
They're all labeled trash and have low scores but I love them xD

It really depends on the movie/show for if I end up liking a reboot or not. 'course, I have to actually be able to WATCH it, and not have it stuck behind a subscription paywall...LOOKING AT YOU TRANSFORMERS AND NETFLIX.
