Do you do this all year, or is it just the current unit?

Just the current unit o:
last unit was basketball; I also died because my ball handling is pretty much non-existent ;m; I'm ready for volleyball at least once though, because my teacher is the volleyball coach.

Does this not happen for you guys?

Nah, we didn't have any stairs in our gym, just the fold out bleachers. I think those would have broken if we all had to run up and down them repeatedly So running only happened in the spring or fall when it could be outside on the track.

Most gym classes had units, but there were a couple that were the same thing for a whole semester.

Ohh I see! We have an indoor track too so running can happen anytime during the year 8c it's such a struggle sometimes because they make us run half a mile but I can't run to catch the bus sooo...

Because of running in gym class?

Mostly in the winter we did basketball or soccer or weight training (ewwww)

I don't do much in that class so it's like lazy weight training :p

Heck no XD The machines are noisy and awful
If we tried to be lazy about it then the teachers would get mad >.>

Oh man x-x do they actively watch you?
My teacher usually hangs around the people who actually work out so I'm free to be "using the dumbbells."

Yeah they'd walk around and watch everyone :/ And if they thought you were slacking they'd watch you more/longer. Also you had to use EVERYTHING so you couldn't just skip the parts you hate or only do the easy ones. Sneaky people

I dunno, there were a couple separate rooms to fit all the machines. Like your arm ones and your leg ones and your core ones and your back ones, etc...

Ohh wow x-x my school is hella underfunded; we have the same machine like 20x and it's old and creaky af xD

I kinda really want handball as a gym unit though ;m;
