I bought the movie ... and I still haven't watched it.. =w=,
It's alright. I prefer the series proper, but your mileage may vary.

Outlaw Star.... I always thought I had fell asleep or something when they skipped that episode. I get the box set and boom... "Ahhhh oAo so THATS what I missed and THATS why they skipped the WHOLE thing" xD
Because I'm so use to Tenchi Muyo's Toonami version, I haven't watched my DVDs =w=, I need to watch them.. xD
Autobot: I love the series, so the movie is the only thing I've yet to see. Both Trigun and Cowboy Bebop got movies... Outlaw Star didn't. Sadfaces ono

I really enjoyed it too. I got pretty far into it and stopped like I always do xD;

Dub wasn't that bad, either.

YYH's dubs are some of the best.
I loved a lot of the voice acting in anime from the 90s and early 2000s... Now most of them just sound like their reading and there's no emotion to it... A few anime managed to come out good tho.
I use to have YYU downloaded.. I think I have it burned to disk now. x'D

That's a big issue I have with most English dubs.
The Japanese VAs seem like they're you know giving a shit.
English doesn't sound anywhere close.
It actually sounds cringy a lot if someone actually is trying ._.

Haha yea.
I was happy when the Yuri on Ice dubs came out decent. Then again they have Jerry Jewell as Victor <3 (he was in YYH as a side character and Fruits Basket as Kyo) THEY HAD A LEGEND!!!
The guy that voiced Yuri, I think he learned a lot from Jerry during YoI, his stuff before YoI was meh, but he did great in YoI and then his stuff after was also pretty good. ovo
Too bad the same couldn't be said for those who worked with Christopher Sabat... =/ He was awesome as Kuwabara in YYH and as Ayame in Fruits Basket.. No one seems to learn from him. =/ And he's also a legend. Then again, judging from his performance in Isekai Smartphone... I think he stopped caring about any other role than his Dragon Ball roles.. >:x
That or he's dumbing himself down to match how the others are.. =/
Laura Bailey who was Keiko (YYH) and Tohru (FB) doesn't do much anime voice acting anymore, she's moved on to game voice acting which pays better (she was in Nier Automata! OAO) and she's been doing a lot of work with Critical Roll.
Justin Cook (Yuusuke/YYH and Hatsuharu/FB) also doesn't voice act much anymore. At least I don't hear him much. He returned to FB like the others did, and I think he did voice work in MHA but.. he's pretty much been directing/producing lately.
Eric Vale is still voice acting, but like Sabat, he doesn't seem to bring out the better in the newer 'talents' (Hiei/Yuki)
... Most of the YYH legends were also in FB... and a few of them were also in Dragon Ball z/super o3o
