Good news: I have internet again!
Bad news: My new computer doesn't work. It won't turn on. So we're using the old computer. Which means I don't have the items list anymore. I have to redo it again, so I'm going to be behind on getting this going again. I am sooo sorry.

Any ideas on what is wrong with the computer? Did it do anything weird the last time it was on?

No, that's just it. We had problems with the old modem for internet so Dad took it back to cox and we got a new one. Then he shut the computer down and hooked up the new one and that's when the computer wouldn't turn on.

Hmm, that does sound odd. What kind of computer is it? A desktop or a laptop?

Any chance your dad just unplugged a wrong cable? Like the power cable of the computer? It would be a strange coincidence if it had nothing to do with plugging in the new modem...

Nope. I even rehooked it up and nothing.
