@Hart- I don't think the test cares if it's normal for the world. It's if the character is spectacularly different from everyone else and has a lot of contradicting traits/relationships.

As far as the "test," I don't know that it's necessarily wrong to make a role-model like character or one that wears clothes you'd like. I did those kind of things back in the day with my characters. I think just getting old has changed my perception of a lot of that.

What I think would be odd is if you played an OC that wore clothes you didn't like (even when given a choice not to). XD I think they were talking about extremes and awkward cases.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I don't think you count it if it's normal for the world.

Yeah. When I read that, it was like, "Nothing stands out about my OC, then; not in the epic sense. D:"

But I don't write him in original fiction, which means there are no clear cut goals or villains or particular obstacles for him over come. He doesn't have to stand out in any way in terms of the story. ]

And for another thing, when I make an RP character, I don't get into the competitive mindset that goes with, "I'm going to make the coolest/most popular/most intelligent/most talented OC" so that takes that bit out of the picture. If anything, I just want them to be interesting and realistic, and the former is quite subjective.

Finally, I like making my worlds well-rounded, so there is an existence of characters who are more renown and generally more awesome than my OCs, which makes them less outstanding, I guess. .-.

We were talking about Mary-Sues or something because Poppet brought in one of the tests. Faris is super-special-awesome in my eyes, but in his own natural habitat, he seems like such a normal boy. ._.

No, which is weird because I expected a higher score than I received. He would probably (most definitely) be a Sue in our world; otherwise, he seems quite normal in his own. Even so, it doesn't feel like a good thing, but the RP isn't taking place in his world, quite (which sort of screws up the test.) I was going to RP with him, then take it again. I bet his points would skyrocket then. XD
