I wrote these ones cause they're my faves.
I need to write the other mushroom one too.. and mum's lasagna recipe when she gives it to me, I may know it off by heart but I like to share these around.

I can't even write down my parents recipes because the asian way of cooking is pretty eye-balley. Some of this, some amount of that, taste, more of this, more of that 'orz So they're mostly not much help when I ask them to teach me. It's cook to taste but here are the ingredients, add however much.
Yummm, lasagna ;v; I love lasagna.

Were you at work? I'm usually so lazy to go to the korean grocery store.
My only qualm about lasagna is it takes so long. At least with spaghetti I can eat the meat sauce when my bf isn't looking >u> and whilst the spaghetti is boiling away. Hehehe. I can't eat cheese sauce nor pasta sheets by itself 8U

i wish we had a korean grocery store here haha. not likely to happen because we don't have a lot of korean immigrants, only a few families in the cities who come on research jobs for a couple of years.
i like lasagna but i can't even imagine making it.
i made pasta with homemade pesto sauce together with my neighbour a couple of weeks ago. i'm a newbie at cooking and she taught me a lot that was interesting. like to add the water that the pasta was boiled/soaked in instead of fresh water because that water will have dissolves starch, so it's more nutritious.
and how to stir the pasta such that it doesn't break.
and she's only a year older than me lol
i'm becoming less jittery with the fire stove but still got to pull up my socks.

Are there other Asian grocery stores around you? The big Chinese grocery store chain around here have some Korean stuff, too. Along with the big Canadian box store.
About a year ago I learnt about wonderpot method which involves making the sauce and the pasta in the same pot. Basically add diced tomatoes and broth with the uncooked pasta and other stuff you want in there and just cook for a long time with the lid off. The liquid evaporates and the starch from the pasta thickens the broth into sauce. It's so much easier!
