Goose and I are similar to jacob and J. I'm all about confronting the issue and sorting it out quick and I pester him about it, but he likes to think about it and stay mad for longer. I want to resolve it so he'll love me back faster ;-; hurry hurry.

I'd be really mad if Goose pulled an impassive fish on me. He hates it when I sulk though.

He needs time to cool down, I need to discuss things to resolve the argument.
We have gotten way better at dealing with it since we figured that out though.
I now know that he isn't just sulking to make a point when he goes away, so I'm more patient (whereas before that would make me even more mad). And he knows that he can't just hole up in his room for hours and expect everything to be fine when he comes out, but rather he can go for a bit but has to come back and face me to resolve the issue.

Yeah, maybe it does have something to do with that!

The worst thing with Ash is, even if we resolve the issue, his bad mood stays for longer. So no matter what happens, he's kind of distant for a while. I learend to let him cool off, give him some alone time. It still hurts though, I'm able to forgive very quickly and I can't quite grasp how he isn't ^^;
As you all said, I just want him to love me again xD

I absolutely agree with @Lliikkiittaa, the effort remains effort and some things are out of your control. We'll remain patient (I see some prayers from the suggestion thread have been heard )
