Okay.

I started saving up for the glasses I want, which are the wells and markova pairs (in cosmic tort and electric blue each).


I have $22.70 aside. $357.30 to go. I hope to ask Peter for some $ to put aside this week, and each week there after..

I didn't realise the 2 pairs would come to that much.

There's a bug going around and I think I have it ;-;

Oh that's with the $50 blue light filter on top.

Wells is $125, Markova is $155. Then you add $100 on top for the filter for both.

It's actually pretty good. Bit $$$ but well I'm still techy that my local optom is $413 for one pair of glasses with my lens script with uv protec.

It's no wonder that physical stores are closing left and right. They can't offer competitive prices like they have online nor do they have the variety =_=
I do feel bad for them though but tbh, Australian retail really sucks.

Well bailey nelson have stores in Australia, just because of where I live I can't get to their physical stores unless I travel for a few hours.

I think my nearest is Byron Bay. Not sure. I'd have to google the trip to be sure.

But like B.N's titanium frames cost more, a lot more but I'm not after those. I don't think I'm that clumsy.

For Peter though he gets titanium? or at least bendy metal that's super expensive as frames or his previous pair was.. but where he works it's probably a good thing. He works at Bindaree Beef.

I wasn't even aware B.N had a physical store. Geez, Byron Bay is heaps far. Not worth the trip for a part of specs. Titanium frames are really good for people like me who are allergic to nickel. Nickel is surprisingly common in frames. Even frames with the metal nose pieces have nickel content. It makes me sad because I often prefer the thinner frames but titanium is more costly. I have the bad habit of sitting on my eye wear or dropping them. I've already scratched my Gucci sunglasses 'orz Dropped it on gravel as well.

I'm far from lots of places XD

The site has more stores than just that but a lot of them are just out of my reach.

Well the markova has metal too bit that's more in the arms. I'm glad I'm not allergic to metals.

Well I have sensitive skin but as far as I know I'm not allergic to like nickel.
