Monster/Beast Tamers! ovo
There are some really cute ones out there. Some are VRMMORPG based, some are flat out Isekai based... owo
The cute beasties are dorbs.
JNC licensed a new Tamer LN. It's cute and funny. Girl lived her whole life in a hospital. the first time she met her parents was when they came to her bedside as she died...
well her one and only regret in life was being unable to pet fluffy animals. So her soul goal and purpose in her new life was to pet the fluffs!!! x"D Her teachers and the priests all thought she'd become a Saint or Hero.. nope! She chose beast tamer, a job they saw as worthless.

I'm sure wanting to tame them is a hate crime.
That reminds me...I started two new stories and one character I'm excited about is Byakko.
A male character with white hair, green eyes, and fangs 8u
I might toss a couple face markings in there...

My fish is named after the dragon of the mythology >w<
Byakko is my favorite of the 4, Suzaku second, Seiryuu the third.. then Genbu. -w- I love it when they're incorporated into anime.

I learned about them because of Fushigi Yuugi 8u
I also named two characters Suzaku and Seiryuu but I might rename them...
They're like ronin and the names just kinda...I don't know xD

They were in Yu Yu Hakusho and Isekai Smartphone
And I believe there was a Byakko in one of the InuYasha movies. Not sure if the others were in it.
OH! That one episode of Cowboy Bebop, with the sunstone! They were depicted in that episode.
There were a few more anime I've seen them in or even mentioned, but I can't think of it.
If it's not the 4 Heavenly Beasts then its always the Norse mythologic Fenrir =w=

I don't remember much of Cowboy Bebop as it's been years but I'll take your word for it 8u
