I'm really hoping by the time I have to go back the snow at least is gone, they never clear the bycicle lanes and its really tedious and scary to ride to work like that :c

Oh yes, I absolutely know what you mean -.- I'm pretty glad that we always have semester break during this time, so I can just sit at home studying and don't have to go outside except for groceries and the actual exams :D

I'm so glad my bff has a car to do groceries with haha otherwise i'd have stocked up like a prepping for the apocalypse c':

We don't have a car, but there's a car sharing in the city that we sometimes use to buy more groceries at once. But I still have to go to the inner city by bike to get the car -.- So it's more about being able to transport more.
Although, hopefully sometime soonish there will be one a little closer to where we live as well, there's actually a point where one car should be stationed, but there's renovations going on with the house next to it so it's not in use right now. For right now being like ever since I signed up for the car sharing -.- It was supposed to be finished last winter, I think... Hope they'll get it done soon.

hope so too! I don't ever want to drive a car myself but I can't deny the extra space is super handy when moving things or getting groceries c':

Yeah, it is super useful at times. Also when buying slightly larger items or from stores that are a little far away by bike (like the hardware store). So I'm happy that we have the carsharing now :)
Sometimes I do wish I had my own car parked in front of the house when the weather is horrible and we really need to go for groceries though :D

God I get that yeah, looking outside at the horrid weather and snow knowing you're going to be going through that, thinking of how much more comfy and warm a car is c':

Actually, I should probably factor in the costs of delivery pizza we order on those days into the "does it make sense to buy a car" equations :D
