I do sometimes look at old regulars' threads and such thinking where they are now, wondering if they ever think of kofk c':
some people have spent years here, personally I can't imagine someone leaving and never once thinking about a site they visited so much o:

And about old habitants of that plane. They were simply mortals. Thus time here they have come to past.

But even I do wonder sometimes whats up with them nowdays. With some I rarely speak by using dark magic*.

but I don't really even mean our regular chat crew, I meant in general. There are some 'big' kofk names so to speak that have left by now and I sometimes wonder what happened to them

Hmm maybe they just got tired of it somehow?
Maybe it was the broken economy od that site? I mean for me it was a big problem until i find a way to break it even more :P

But still i get your point. I remember some ppl who were not regulars in our group and they are completely gone from site now.

I've always been more of a chatterbox, though I can't really say 'so I don't care for the kofk economy' cause I do have an abundance of funds so its easy for me to say I'm all about the chatting when I don't have to think about anything else xD

I do truly not understand much about economics though. I'd like for kofk to get better in that regard but I have no idea how to help etc

I think that two things are needed.
1. Wave of new users.
2. Some great fp sinks. Imo there are way to generate too much fp without effort. Either nerf that or make something that would sink food a lot. I think i did post few ideas waaaay back.

Otherwise site will just die of old age. I mean like old users having everything and knowing everyone. What's point in being here then?

The funny thing is that I've noticed a lot of new users that leave after a short time after joining, claim exactly that getting/gaining fp is hard/takes too long...

I personally think one of the main problems is the fact that so many older users have left (and with them a lot of donators too). I'm not really sure, but I think its gotten to a point that if you start now on kofk and you put together a wishlist, as much as half of the TT items and MT sets etc are hardcore hard to get just cause so few users that have those items are even around and willing to sell. Items as 'recent' as 1 year ago are super rare even for users with funds to throw at them. That's super disheartening to people starting, I think.

Especially with all the TT sets I think that's an isse. I see a lot of people having to pick 1-2 out of all the sets of items every month, cause they just can't afford/get the fc to buy all. Say a certain set is only bought by 10 people. Good luck to questers trying to get their hands on them :x
