That thread host weekly contest
Basically make an avatar (no, not drawing) by using the specific item mentioned
If you don't have the item, some host/contest allows Dream Avatar Creator
After you make it, post the picture into the thread ^^
(You can go to the next page in the thread for some examples)

If I can, (some host want participant to use real items not dream avatar creator) I always enter the contest, it is fun even though I never win
