@Amy: Yeah, it's so bad... My friend looked like he was going to have a heart attack when it happened. xD But it happened far enough away that no one got hurt.

@Kimi: Yeah, they probably are the same storms. xD
I think it's supposed to be thunderstorms all week too... orz

@Chocolate: Oh wow, that sounds scary! D:
I'm glad they missed you!

Fireworks can be pretty dangerous...
My siblings and I had some that were supposed to just spin around on the ground that we decided to light... and they went flying into the air instead in unpredictable directions. :mcomg:

awws I'm sorry. I hope the weather calms down for you soon!

I know right?! Thats what I love, is how different each one is.<3

I have never been a fan of the 4th of july. Not since I lived at my moms and some drunk guys threw a firework in our backyard and our yard was filled with dead grass and it all caught on fire and I had to put it out with the hose. If I wasn't home I bet our house wouldve caught on fire.
x.x

yay page contest!

@Kailee: Jeez. Well at least no one got hurt >u<

They're supposed to be for at least another week straight :qd:

Nope, not right now "mchappy" I'm saving to buy FCs so no questing until I get some XD

I don't like fireworks generally just because they're loud, but you guys are making me scared of them o.o

Oh jeez, that's terrifying. o_o
Drunk people and fireworks should never mix, yet that seems to happen a lot. =/
I'm really glad it turned out ok... but wow. D:

There's good reason to be scared of them since they can be extremely dangerous when in the wrong hands. xD; But when you're safe about it, they can be pretty entertaining.

Omg, another week? x.x

@Blaze: Not really. It was mostly just startling, and a adrenalin rush that came with it. Nobody got hurt and all other mishaps only happened in the outfield (all of which involved them not leaving the tube.) Talk about bad luck and quality, its pretty rare for a firework to mishap.

What did they look like? Did they have a green fan like thing on them? Could you post a pic of one? They sound like one I have.

EDIT: Man, never thought that the person I was replying to would ninja me.

Oh, that's good to hear!
And yeah, it is, but there's usually at least a few duds in every fireworks show. >w<

These are kind of like what we had...

They aren't supposed to leave the ground at all, and those things flew high. xD

Kind of isn't exactly. But while each firework works a little bit differently between brand and name, the basic properties still apply. You probably just set it up wrong, like laying it on the wrong side. Or it could be that that's what that particular brand is supposed to do. One of the two. Though you might want to look up a video of it in action online. It may help determine what went wrong, if anything.
