I wish I had asked my grandma to teach me German.
She was pretty quiet and so was I.
My dad told me about her getting angry and cussing like a sailor.
I was like "Grandma o___O!?"
Anyways, I only know a handful of it xD;
I don't know that much Spanish either >_>;

I was pretty good with German pronunciation back in middle school. Worse with the will to actually learn the language. I only remember single words now and the most basic stuff XD
@Moi: My "Spanish" comes from bits I've heard from movies/telenovelas and such. And I'm pretty sure I'd be mixing it with Portuguese and other latino languages... Thanks to granny's telenovelas

My dad's Mexican, so I know a little bit.
Some of it is cuss words, though 8u
I also had Spanish in high school.
I've learned bits and pieces of different languages over time.
Not enough to actually go to the countries, though xD

The Spanish I know is how to say I can't speak it. Though I did pretty well in Mexico that time. I just listened carefully, asked for repeats, and got it. Oh, and I can say grandma and grandpa and aunty and uncle... words like that. We get French here in school. I can't speak it either.
My German friends said that my attempts at saying things in German sounded Dutch. I think my speaking was softened up too much from Southern US family members.

I'm losing my Spanish. I had it pretty well up until uni probably. Then I started focusing on French because I figured I was more advanced in that anyway and needed to make sure I didn't lose it. Which I am anyway >.> I literally just don't know anyone else IRL who speaks other languages, so I've got no way to practice. Watching TV or listening to music is fine but it doesn't help practice actually using it yourself and listening to people talk in unpredictable, less clear ways than they do in situations where their voices are polished and prepped for listeners.

And that was the problem I had with ASL. Nobody to talk to. Though the few I DID get to talk to laughed and told me I had a stutter.

I tried to play 'Blade and Soul', but it wouldn't shut up about debugger, even after I tried all the fixes (except actually turning my antivirus off) that were suggested. So it's uninstalled and to BEEP with it.
