Can't help you there. I've never had anyone to convince to buy things for me.

I have no job so rely on his income because he earns too much before tax according the the government so I can't get government welfare payments. though tbh I'm happy to not deal with centerlink anymore.

that said I do apply for jobs but country town, and me having previously lived all my life till a year ago in another state...makes job hunting hard, also my age is against me. I would work at a take away shop (mcdonalds, kfc, dominos type) if they would get over my age and hire me.

That said Peter is going to give me some money towards the shirt and I can buy it after I bank the cash tomorrow

Awww. Yeah, that's why I remained jobless after I finally worked through the crazy enough to just be creatively weird. Too old. Or just too weird. I've seen other not kids at the fast food.

Yeaah I'm hoping I go okay with the white haha. I wish it was a black or gray background tbh but it's too cute to not get.

And that's another factor for me, too. I spent my teenage years too sick or too nuts to get a job, not to mention shut away on a bush farm by reclusive parents.

My parents wouldn't let me get a job in my last years of high school. As it is I barely passed.


I wish I got a job back in '09 the year after I graduated.

Same here. No outside contact while I was living at their place. I couldn't even go to fieldtrips or band concerts. And then, after I was in town, I was expected to instantly get work. When I couldn't even speak English understandably to most people. It was English, but it was dialect.

Strict parents eh.

That sucks on the understanding the dialect :(
