I think he is really cute and his expression is adorable !! I love his eyes

I admit that I would have liked him to be more swirly like the girl, but swirls are really hard to incorporate in a male. The girl had a dress and long hair to work with, so I get why there are fewer swirls than one might hope for. I think he looks really nice, I want to squish his cheeks

Hitomi-no-Tsubasa: Yeah, I think he would have looked great in the girl blue too. But Frin has changed her drawing style a lot these past years, so maybe it was a good call.
