I used to only eat cheese sandwiches in elementary school, then I got tired of it, so now I don't eat cheese at all. Plus it makes me super gassy and not feeling well, so there's also that. Probably lactose but I don't have a doctor's opinion, just my own guess
I do love me some smoked cheese though

Even more, I love these:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oscypek they are so delicious! Damn, I want one now x.x

Cheese is a very European thing. A lot of African and Asian descendants cannot process dairy that well.
I love it but my Native American hubby has trouble eating it in large quantities XD
And then he tries to put it on Chinese food and I'm like NO!

Love the new wild knuffel, Firn 8U
My cousin can only eat certain cheeses.
I forgot about it when they came down to visit.
I kept suggesting things he couldn't eat xD;

I'm like half European and the rest is Mexican and Native American.
I don't have issues eating anything.
But like I mentioned in the past, I can't drink alcohol.
I've gotten very sick twice in my life.
I don't know what caused either.
I suddenly had very horrific stomach pains and I was puking and such.
Came completely out of nowhere and I was bedridden for like 4 days.
I was in constant pain and puking and such.
I thought it was food poisoning, but people told me I'd be hospitalized.
But it wasn't just a stomach bug, it was painful and I couldn't eat or drink much of anything.
It happened again last year. Same thing - came out of nowhere. Last 4 or so days.
I thought I had eaten some bad ham, but my aunt had eaten some too and didn't get sick.

Yeah. I think it's my Native American blood that makes me nope the milk.
On the other hand, I'm told that many North Americans of non Asian descent can't digest nori. And nori is very good to me.

I've heard Native Americans can't tolerate alcohol.
But when I looked it up, I couldn't find anything.
My parents can drink and not get sick.
I still wonder why I do, but I don't think it's heritage.
I think my stomach's a toxic waste dump xD

I've never heard about non Asian descent not being able to digest Nori. I even often read that we should not eat too much nori because of the high content of iodine, so I always assumed we could digest it fine?
I also didn't know about Native Americans not being able to tolerate alcohol, but I certainly know it's true for a lot of Asians! Not all of them, because apparantly not all lack a certain gene (Starkad can drink alcohol just fine), but the amount of completely wasted japanee salemen I have seen in japan..
Moi, maybe it's like with the Japanese and only individuals that lack the gene have problems with it and not all.

Moi, it kind of sounds like food poisoning to me. I've had it before and didn't get hospitalised. I was just really sick. Also, there are different kinds of food poisoning (undercooked food, rotten food, food contaminated by unwashed hands etc) and some people are more susceptible to it than others. I've had times when I was living at home where both my parents got sick but I didn't, because my digestive system was better able to handle things.
