I'm trying to recall a similar situation in my life, but as far as I can remember it never happened XD But I may be wrong, my memory is terrible XP

I can actually recall such situations - When we had to do group work at school. I always hated it. I am not very confident in my decisions, but at the same time I often have a very set image on how I want things done, so I often used take charges in these situations - also, because no one else would and we would not get anything done otherwise.

However, that's really the only situation I can think of. Usually I try to avoid taking charge. Don't even want to have to decide what's for dinner.
You should hear our dinner plainning converstions:
"What do you want for dinner?"
"I have no idea, whatever you want"
"I also have no idea, you deicde!
"No, I don't want to decide, you decide"
"isnt't there anything you want?"
"Gosh, just make something, I'll eat anything!"
"No, that's not true, you eat almost nothing at all!"

I only remember I was put in charge of drawing a poster for something our class was doing... but that's not the "being in charge" we're talking about, someone just spilled that I can draw and everyone was like "ooh, you do it then!" so I had no choice XD

Lol, that dinner convo kind of reminds me of bf's and mine, only that...:
Ash: what do you want for dinner?
Me: Idunno.
Ash: Of course you don't
Me: *tries to fix his disapproval* do you want Chinese again?
But yesterday I offered chilli and even cooked it so yay *confetti rain*, I'm proud XD

I dislike cooking and I don't think starkad would appreciate my cooking. Whenever he is away I usually just eat bread, but some time ago I made myself pasta with vegetables. He came in, saw me eating and said "What are you eating - OH MY GOD, THAT LOOKS GROSS!". So, yeah, I think that sums up my cooking skills pretty well.

By the way, I know very well what I would like to eat each day. I could eat pizza every single day of my life probably. But it's not healthy and so is most tasty food, so I am usually "meh" about deciding what to eat, because I know it's most likely not gonna be something awesome anyway

I doubt my cooking skills as well. I only remember my failures, and so I recall I made fried sausage for bf once and burned it a bit... and he only ate it out of good heart Other times I put too much salt to macarone/rice/etc. or too little. Or I burn the sauce. Not taking just estimating how many of what I should slice/dice/etc. and how to cut it all, because, you know, it's higher mathematics for me... But Ash encourages me. And I try sometimes, like yesterday. And, dare I say it, it was pretty good
If you don't like cooking at all and he's fine with doing it, then I guess it's all right

I ordered pizza today XD Trying to eat clean, pff, lol nope
But there are so many tasty dishes! Chilli con carne for example xD

Yeah, sounds pretty similar to my cooking "skills". But it's not just that I am not good at it - I really utterly dislike it too.
On the other hand I am rather fond of baking and, at least I hope, not too bad at it.

It's time to feed the dogs now and then I'll call it a day, read a bit while taking a bath and go to bed early. I hope you find some other people to chat with, I really do. Good night!

Well, then starkad can be the cook and you'll take care of baking (that's kind of like Ash and I, although I've only ever baked one kind of cookies xD I should expand... ;>_>)

Haha, that's funny, we have a designated baker as well, but it's my bf. Although I'm not super bad at it, I just don't enjoy it as much as he does. We both cook though, most of the time we cook together. I really like doing that, we're a good team and it's way more fun than cooking alone :)
