When Pokemon Go first came out, so many people got shot/shot at while playing because they weren't paying attention to property lines. o3o

I'm so happy to live in a country where there are very little people with guns - not saying there aren't any just a whole lot less - that could even consider doing such a thing. Then again I've heard of people that had things thrown at them, or that got hit by cars, because they weren't paying attention.

Never got into Pokemon GO, Just could not get bothered. I know I am a humongous collector and would not deal with not having every single one. So best not to start at all. :}

I don't go out enough to play it -w-

I tried to get into it though

then the raids were basically 'you need IRL friends'

I remember this person playing Pokemon Go and he went into this abandoned building because there was a rare one there.
This homeless man asked him if he was there to kick him out and the guy was like "No, I'm playing a game!"
The homeless man robbed him and told him to never come back.
The guy felt so bad for the homeless man too :\
He said he had this like...tumor on his head and he just felt so much sympathy for him eventhough he robbed him.
It made me happy that he had sympathy for the homeless man.

I'm from Texas so there's guns everywhere.
I sometimes feel bad because people say guns are bad and I'm literally from a place where people love their guns and it's normal to me for people to have guns 8u
I'm also very territorial and don't like people being on my land.
I imagine being a hermit and having a gun and telling people "Get off my land >Bu"

I also don't think I should have one because I have an anxiety disorder and if I'm honestly terrified of something when I have no reason to be and shoot an innocent person - I couldn't live with myself 8u
But I also am paranoid and would like protection xD

I'll never forget this true story of this girl...I think she was in a car accident and she went to this man's house and knocked on his door asking for help.
He shot her in the face and killed her.
He claimed he was afraid for his life.
The girl was black and a lot of people think the man was prejudice.
He was an older man and a black person knocking on his door at night likely triggered that reaction from him.
But it was a girl. A girl who was injured and trying to get help.
I honestly have no sympathy for this man :\
He had 0 reason to shoot her.
While I'm all for "Get off my land -cocks gun-" a lot of the time, you don't just instantly shoot someone.
If you're scared, call the police.
If the person is trying to break in before police get there then you shoot.
You don't hear someone calling for help and shoot them .__.

Yea no sympathy for people like that.

There was another case that happened years ago where this guy came to the US from Japan to go to school.
He and his friend dressed up for Halloween and were going to a party.
They ended up at the wrong house.
They knocked on the door and an older woman answered.
She got so scared of these two boys, because they were BOYS in costumes, that she told her husband to get his gun.
The boys figured out they were at the wrong house so they were leaving when the husband ran outside with his gun and demanded they stop.
The Japanese boy thought it was a joke and he wanted to take out his camera and take a picture.
The husband shot him and killed him.
People were saying they understood the husband and didn't blame him because the boys were trespassing and his wife was scared and it was their right to shoot.
Their right TO SHOOT A BOY IN A HALLOWEEN COSTUME WHO YOU TOLD TO STOP AS HE WAS LEAVING YOUR PROPERTY.
That will always infuriate me.
And what's worse is he was found not guilty.

Like I said - I'm not prejudice - I'm scared of everyone equally \8u/
If someone is on my property and I have a gun, I will give them a warning.
If they don't leave then I will fire a warning shot.
If they still don't leave, I will probably call the police because they might not understand English or they may need help xD
I mean a gunshot works in all languages but u8

Is it really trespassing when people come up and knock on the door, getting the wrong house and is willing to leave... and is complying when told to stop? =/

Exactly. They were already leaving his property and he told them to stop.
It's just really infuriating. All they were doing was looking for a party and got the wrong house.

Tasers sometimes have no effect on people 8u
What I don't get is it's illegal to own certain pepper sprays where I live >>
Like they sell some at a store and those are okay but other aren't.
I guess it's like weed where it can be laced with other things \u8/
Oh, I totally wouldn't want to hurt someone attacking me \8u/
