I am not sure about that. I don't doubt for a moment that there are still users who don't like some or even all of the changes. (There is still the Feedback forum to express your opinion. Some users even still do so, though the only feedback I saw about changes recently was positive) But as fas as I know most of the users who really made a huge fuss about it, went as far as insulting me and every user defending the changes, have left, which, I must admit, I am not too unhappy about. Not meaning I want users who don't share my opinion gone, but I can really do without users who are incredibly rude to others and can't voice their oionion in a polite and constructive way.

I remember a time when some users said I would destroy the site with the upates and users would leave because of them and some other users replied that what destoryed the site for them and made them want to leave were the constant nagging and rude users. And that was also how I felt for a while. I didn't even enjoy coming to this (my own!) site, because some users were acting so hostile towards me. So, if they are still around, then I don't even know why.
Again, has absolutely nothing to do with users not liking the changes and/or voicing their opinion in a respectful way, but the ones who made more drama out of it than was necessary.

Oh geez Some humans just really hate change. But in the end, better art will always attract more people. I sign up for avatar sites based on the "look" of the avatars, if I don't like the art or it seems old or poor, I definitely won't join. But people who dislike things need to learn to offer alternatives, or give what I call the compliment sandwich like...

Thank you Firn for all your hard and dedicated work on this site. I'm not sure I care for the update of this item, but if I'm in the minority, that's fine.

It's not like you're updating things that have been released in the last two years or so? It's older stuff. Stuff people spent money on that they honestly can't recall spending money on or even earning. It's in the past.

The only thing I could think of to suggest appeasing those people would be yet another coding project x.x Having access to a gallery of all the "ancient" knuffels, a well as a DAC of the old items they could still play with. Not that I think that's a good use of the admins' time but it's an idea.

Yeah, it's kind of sad that people voted against some items, because then they don't match other items anymore and it's hard to wear them. I don't own such items, but I get it.
I can also understand that some items were made by someone else than Firn and therefore she's does not fancy the idea of changing them in any way.
I guess there's two sides to every coin and you can't really do anything about it.
Although I think Firn should change whatever she wants. #personalopinion
