Yeah...
It's funny because the developers of the game said the ban is for everyone who DCs for any reason.
So if you have poor internet and get DC'd - you deserve the ban for letting your teammates down because you know your internet is bad. Get better internet.
That's so fucking shitty. Like motherfucker I spent a lot of money on this game and you're talking like a bunch of dicks that don't want to see any more money >__>
Also, other people had the SAME problem and also got banned.
Which means it's not the players' at fault - it's the game Bu

You can usually tell when someone intentionally DCs.
Maybe they're not doing good in a match.
Maybe they got tired of toxic players.
Maybe they got upset at being downed.
But you can tell when someone's internet died or whatever.
Like this Killer was in mid chase with me and they just DC'd.
Clearly their internet went out or something.
Then I was chasing someone and went to kick a pallet and got DC'd.
I was in a chase and preforming an action - I did not open the menu and click leave match >Bu

Yeah, they should be able to see who DC's deliberately and who gets a bad connection issue. :}

I don't think they can. Or at least people say that's impossible.
It'd be nice, though. I NEVER have DC'd on purpose.
My game sometimes freezes and boots me out - I get a ban.
Their servers crash and my internet gets blamed and I get a ban.
The funny thing is, every time it says my internet was at fault - literally everything using the internet is working just fine.
So it's always on their end <<
Also, the bans stack.
At first it will be 5 minutes and 5 minutes just keeps getting added the more you DC.
I got a 20 minute ban at most.
Because THEIR servers booted me out >>

It would be impossible if someone unplugged the internet modem causing a 'dc'.
Though one's that are stupid enough to DC through the menu should be banned >:x

I complained and people just say "Well, you deserve the ban for playing on a bad PC or having unreliable internet!"
There will be hundreds of people complaining about the DCs at the same time.

i hate people like that.
even if it was the pc or internet's problem, not everyone can afford top tier gear. really goes to show how spoiled kids are that have parents that CAN afford it.
You could work 5 jobs and still not be able to afford top tier gear.
I was playing a MMO and there was a monster spawning event in the one town. My pc wasn't the best and neither was my internet... people would spam their skills to get low end pc's to DC from the game or freeze up, just so they could get more rewards.
If anyone would complain about it, they'd tell them to go get a better pc... when I said that not everyone had money for good gear, I was told to stop playing games. pissed me off

They should get banned for interfering with other peoples' gameplay.
It's reportable in DBD.
Like if a teammate blocks you in a corner and won't let you leave or stay in the same spot while your team dies.
I had some motherfuckers do that to me.
I was looking for something and I looked in this corner and my teammate blocked me in for like 3 minutes and I couldn't leave >_>
Then I had these two asshole just stay in the basement all match and fucked me and the other teammate over.
