I just find it so sad because there's couples who try so hard to have a kid, but these people can have kids, and kill them.
I'm pretty sure someone would have taken those kids and gave them a good home.

And I can't stand CPS either.
I know they've helped some people, but they've fucked over a lot of other people.
We got an article in our newspaper a while ago, and it said that CPS has been responsible for at least 100 child deaths in the recent past.
I've also heard cases where they saw the parent was bad, took the kid, gave the kid back and the kid was killed.
Also, some kids get put in foster care and are molested/raped, beaten, killed...

Anyone that hurts kids, animals and the elderly is the biggest piece of shit on earth to me.
Because they hurt people who are weaker.
They wouldn't touch anyone bigger and stronger.

The world can be unfair sometimes.

I can't say much about CPS without knowing more details. Was it CPS that messed up or is it the law and bureaucracy that's keeping them from fulfilling their original purpose? Like the law required CPS to return the kids to the parents because it couldn't find enough cause to keep the kids away from them? And bureaucracy that's keeping them from investigating the foster parents fully to make sure they're not terrible people also? You know. Did they mess up or did the system fail them?

We should plunk them down with polar bears and see what they do.

I don't care whose fault it is. The justice system in this country is stupid.
Like how they KNOW someone did something shitty, but let them go because "The law states ___!"
They KNOW they're dangerous and will hurt someone, but let them go free.
Or the people who rape and molest others, but they have a rich/famous family and get off lightly.
Did you see the case about that dickwad that raped a chick, only got six months, only served three of that six months and is out free?

It really pisses me off.
When you know someone is dangerous, you don't let them go because loophole.
You don't say "That guy just shot someone, but I can't arrest him because he's wearing a green shirt on Tuesday, and the law states you can't arrest anyone wearing a green shirt on Tuesday!"

I've been watching crime things since a young age.
The way this country works sometimes is appalling >__>

The law is definitely not perfect. The thing is, do you want to make sure you get every single criminals including some innocent people, or do you want to make sure all the innocent people are not incarcerated and miss some criminals?

And, yeah, the law as it currently is is too strict in certain parts and too lax in others but I don't know if it'll ever be a perfect system. It could definitely improve, though. Especially if you're only getting a few months for rape. But law enforcement definitely need to follow the law. Otherwise, they can say, "I just had a feeling that this person would become more dangerous if they were allowed to be free" and abuse their powers to lock up people on petty charges. Of course, there are still cops who try this shit, yeah. But giving people free reign to do whatever as long as they can pass it off as being for the greater good, I think, is dangerous.

I'm not talking about "feeling" they may do something.
I'm talking about serial killers, about pedophiles.
You can't just turn the other cheek to those.
They will get out and destroy more lives xD
And there's times when you KNOW someone did something or will do something, but you do nothing to stop it or can't do something to stop it.
It takes them hurting someone else to get them locked back up, when it was obviously a bad idea to let them go.
Like this man I watch says "He's a killer! That doesn't just go away over time!"


And I know it can't be perfect, but to see people getting away with shit, while others commit lesser crimes and are punished worse - it's bullshit.
I'm not going to say it hasn't helped people, but it's so backasswards - it's ridiculous.
People sympathizing with the rapist and not the victim???
"This poor man's whole career may be destroyed!" "He won't last long in prison!"
They knowingly committed a crime.
It's THEIR fault for fucking up their careers and lives.

Yeah, that's true. You hope that they turn over new leaves but it doesn't always end that way. But I don't know any serial killers that were set free. The only serial killers I know about are in jail for life with no chance for parole, did serve their time for a long while and the circumstances of their crime makes it unlikely that they'll kill again, or died before seeing a court in police gunfire.

It is definitely true that the law is skewed. What's worse is that it's so troublesome to change. It's so inculcated in tradition that you can't even change a wording on contracts to make it easier to read without it creating loopholes people could exploit.

And yeah, I definitely agree that it's terrible that we still have a bit of victim-blaming left in our society. I think it's gotten better, but I hope that it'll continue to get better. I can understand sympathizing with someone who've been accused of rape (because false accusations do happen) but when it's for sure, no pity, man.

I don't remember his name, but over in Russia they let him out.
He didn't serve long. He had metal teeth.
And there's a guy in Japan that mutilated this girl and ate her.
He even tells people about his stories and is a celebrity kind of.
There was also this kid who poisoned people, and they let him go, poisoned more people, got locked up, poisoned more people.
There's several other people I can't think of right now.
I watch the hell out of crime shows xD

Some people murder and do feel regret.
If they serve time and get out, okay.
But there are people who don't care about others, and have no issues hurting them.

There was a man in Russia that dug up little girls' bodies and dressed them up and kept them in his house.
However, I do feel sorry for him.
He didn't see them in a sexual way, but like kids who were abandoned and he wanted to take them to a nice home so they wouldn't be lonely.
Is it disturbing as all fuck? Yes.
But it was childlike, and he will be in a mental hospital the rest of his life.


There was a man in a video I saw that served several years on a rape charge.
Didn't even do it. I see a lot of men being accused of rape and molestation, and they didn't do it, but have to take the punishment.
We had a family member whose wife got him thrown in prison for molesting his kids.
I don't know if he did it, but his wife was a crazy bitch.
She inflicted wounds on herself, and told the police he did it.
So forgive me if I doubt her accusations o___O

Oh, yeah. Most crime shows I watch are about American crimes. What kind of shows do you watch? I like watching crime shows, too. Though I haven't watched much recently. I'm watching Bates Motel and Elementary at the moment, and not much else. Boyfriend keeps changing up what he wants to watch with me so now we're working on something Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, Magic School Bus, Firefly, House, Community, and Arrested Development. ALL over the place and I get the feeling we'll end up not getting to the end of ANY of these series and it drives me insane. lol So maybe I won't watch the show even if you tell me what it is. orz Not because I don't want to... I just don't have the time to watch even the shows I'm working on right now. :qlol:

Yeah, creepy in a sweet and sad way. I hope he's getting helped rather than being locked up, though.

There was a man named Cotton who got incarcerated for rape he didn't commit. He was later freed after DNA evidence proved his innocence. The rape victim, who pointed him out as her rapist, apologized and they wrote a book together called Picking Cotton and they're trying to make it so no more innocent men will be arrested for something they didn't commit. I'm not sure how they're hoping to achieve that end, but it sounds like a nice cause.

It's so hard when it involves children. Or other people who can't defend themselves. I saw on TV that there was this girl with development issues and she couldn't talk. The Special Education Teacher has to help her do her homework by propping her arm up so she can hit keys on her computer. One day, she typed out something that accused her father of molestation. The father got put away in jail while they worked on his trial. Then the validity of the girl's confession was put to question and they asked if it wasn't the SET who wrote it and masqueraded as the girl writing it. So they asked the SET to step outside, ask the girl questions, have the SET come back in without knowing the question and help the girl type out her answers. And the answers came out GIBBERISH. So the father was found innocent and allowed to return to his family and the girl was so happy she got his father back that she wouldn't let him out of her sight for like, months. Sweet ending, but what drove the teacher to spin such a lie, right? What was she getting out of it? Attention? Did she have some sort of Munchausen by proxy? So weird.

But if the police knew your family member's (ex-)wife was concocting lies to get her husband in trouble already, then I hope they did thorough investigation instead of taking her words at face value.

It's usually in the US, but I hear stories from around the world.
I used to watch a crime show on this one channel.
It had one about murders and Forensics and such.
You wouldn't believe how many people are ignorant of how awesome Forensics is.
I've learned some things from watching those shows.
I also started researching serial killers in my mid teens.
I printed a bunch of articles and my dad yelled at me for looking that up online.


I do too. I am usually disgusted by sexual crimes, but he had no want for that.
Which was kind of weird.

Awww. I do hope they can help other people.
I heard a case once where this woman picked this man out of a lineup, and she found out she was mistaken and told the cops, but they didn't do anything.
I don't know if that's legit, but it was a news thingy.

I think it's horrible to make your kids think their daddy hurt them.
I've always been a daddy's girl, and it makes me angry when people do that.
I think some people think the mother matters more, but fathers would go through hell for their kids.

A lot of women do have that and do crazy shit.
And it's like...I like when it's a holiday, my birthday or I'm ill and people are extra nice to me.
Not gonna poison someone or hurl myself down the stairs just to get it u8

I never heard anything more about his wife. I cut ties with that branch of the family tree.

Do you remember what it was? I watched a lot of Forensic Files. Don't do that much anymore. Not that I mind. I check it out when it's playing on TV sometimes and it's usually an episode I've seen.

Man, I hope the police were doing something, just that it was taking too long because of unnecessary bureaucracy.

Yeah, it used to be a thing where psychologists would try and dig out repressed memories until they found how easy it is to implant new memories into people's minds. They had a bunch of college students come in and talk to some researchers about childhood memories and the researchers had their families send them pictures from their childhood for them to talk about... and they made up a photo where the subjects, as children, and their parents are riding a hot air balloon and I think the majority of them remembered being on a hot air balloon ride... despite their family saying that they've never been on a hot air balloon. There was also a study where they'd get participants to work on a computer and told to never touch a particular key... and the program on the computer would crash at a predetermined point in time and the researcher would accuse the participants of touching the key... and most of them come to believe that they have even though the data shows they didn't. :qlol: So hopefully all psychologists know not to try and lead their clients into fabricating a traumatic memory.
