Kingdom of Knuffel

Angeline seemed to freeze at his question, her eyes going blank as she started to relive the situation. She started to rub her arm, tightly closing her legs and slowly starting to hug herself. "I um...got denied because....he didn't like my attitude...in answering certain...requests. There were some things I didn't want to do, he didn't take it well. Yelled in my face, told me if I didn't do what he said I would never make it in the business. I threw coffee in his face and ran..." Her shoulders were tense, slightly up as if she was preparing to get hit. She hated it, she felt disgusting. She didn't want to relive it.

Angeline flinched slightly when he touched her, snapping out of her memories and looking up at him. She listened to his words, her shoulders slumping as she started to relax. Tears brimmed her eyes as she smiled softly. She quickly hugged him, burying her face into his shoulder. She smiled, sniffling and nuzzling him. "Thank you Phantom, thank you so much." She felt so relaxed and safe right there, her horrible memories fading away.

Angelina smiled against his chest, not really wanting to let go. She could stay right there forever and be happy. Flashes of her dream popped into her head at that exact moment, making her entire face flush with embarrassment. She gently pulled from his grip and rubbed the back of her neck. "Still, thank you. I'm sorry that you had to see me like that. I guess I just got a bit traumatized about the whole thing." She let her arms fall to her sides, tilting her head a bit while smiling. "Um, what do we plan to do today? Practice? Auditions? I'm curious." She spoke innocently, making eye contact with Phantom.

"Eh...?" She let out a small questioning noise, tilting her head much like a curious dog would. "Take me out? Like a date?" She asked softly, smiling softly before nodding and going to get dressed. "Hope you don't do this with all your clients~" She teased, disappearing upstairs to her room. After a moment or two, Angeline came down in a nice black top, that fit her tight enough to show off her curves but loose enough to be comfy, and matching it was a knee high circle cut blue skirt. Across the skirt were small oceanic designs, and a pair of comfy looking sandals. "Is this good?" Angeline had parts of her hair pulled back, just enough to show her face, and her bangs still framed her face just right.

Angeline smiled brightly and nodded. "Yup~! Ready when you are~!" After grabbing her bag and locking the door behind her, Angeline followed next to Phantom, looking up at him curiously. "So, where do you plan on us going? I mean, unless you're trying to be suave and mysterious~" She teased, sticking out the tip of her tongue and winking.
