I need to get my ears repierced. I wanna go to an actual piercer so they can maybe do them straight. I've been pierced so many times and the ears are always stupidly wonky.

Disney is nice. I like Disney stuff a lot too.
How many ACs you got? We have one in our living room. It's always so hot everywhere.
Maybe you could get some paint kind of stuff to put on the walls instead? Might be cheaper. Or you could try sanding them down. IDK. Just thoughts.
Yes. G1=Generation 1 in other words the ones from the 80s. I can
never have enough of them.
1 and it's in mine and my daughter's room. Our other one leaked.
Paint doesn't do anything. Just changes the color of the textured walls. And sanding would take to long. I can't sand and my dad's 60. Thanks for the ideas though. The walls are like this:
Textured only worse.
I have to wait till my daughter's much older to get her ears pierced. She has a panic attack and bawls her eyes out if she gets a small scrape even if there's no blood. I wish I did like I wanted and pierced her ears when she was like one and got it done and over with. But I was worried if that was too young. I know I've seen month olds with their ears pierced, but it's a different thing when it's my own baby.

I recently got some g1 my little pony socks. They super cute.
I didn't mean regular paint. This stuff -

I think my family used it to untexture our ceiling at one point.
I for one am super glad you didn't get your baby's ears pierced. I am very against body mods on someone who cannot consent to them. ESPECIALLY if you go to some shitty place like Claire's to get them done. Piercing guns are filthy and the devil. Did you know that they cannot be properly cleaned? That's just inviting blood born pathogens.
Better to wait til they're 16 or older and take them to a piercing shop where it can be done hygienic-ly. Not to mention they're old enough to decide if they actually want them. They're also like the least painful piercing I know of. Lol.

OOOO! I bet!
Oh. I've never heard of that stuff. I'll talk to my dad about it when he's not busy.
Edit: I just talked to my dad, he says because our walls are at a slant it would just fall right off. But thank you for the suggestion.
Well thank you. Unfortunately I meet a lot of people who are condescending because of my choice to wait. And even friends of mine are like "You should have gotten her ears pierced as soon as you could. And you should get her ears pierced. It'd be so pretty. And blah blah blah." Luckily those friends are more like acquaintances any more. I know she wants her ears pierced right now, but she's six and I don't know if she understands what it means. I wanted my ears pierced when I was five and I understood what it meant. And it didn't bother me too much. But then again my mom says she was like three. But I'm a little more I dunno cautious? I'm just not sure if it's what either of us really wants.

DC you gotta check your trades my dear
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!
Did a ton of packing today and went to the lawyers to sign off on the title transfer for the new house ... now I am trying to relax.
PS. I knew when I was 5 years old that I wanted my ears pierced for the first time, and I told my mom and she took me to do get them done. Then when I was older and wanted more (probably around 11 or 12) I got more in my ears. When I was 16 she gave me permission to get my belly button pierced and a surface piercing on my abdomen which ended up rejecting anyway and I never got it done again. I'd love more little piercings here and there some day. I think it's fine to wait until you think your daughter is ready.

MissNikki, it was kind of similar for me :D
I got my ear lobes pierced when I was around 4 or 5. I cannot remember if I wanted them of my Mum just decided to get that done, but as I know myself pretty well I guess it was me who wanted it :D
I am glad I got that done that early, but just because I know that if I decide something I stick with a decision, that was always the case.
Then I got 2 more on my left ear with 12.
Just recently I got a helix and 1 more on each year.
I went to a piercer for the helix because I wanted to be more cautious with that one, but the other ones were shot. It turned out all okay for me, but I think to go to a piercer is the safe choice.
And I agree with light, I think it is good that you didn't go to the piercer with your daughter, she should be able to decide on body mods when she is old enough to know what she is doing.

I agree with light on this as well. To me personally, the idea of piercing a kid's ears before it can make the decision for itself is really weird. I mean, I've seen small kids with pierced ears, but I always just wonder why, you know? I don't see it as something that "has to be done" at some point, like many people seem to. Maybe because I don't have pierced ears at all myself and I'm completely fine with that. Sometimes, I'm glad, because I know I'd spend a fortune on cute earrings if I could wear them :D

I would like to get my nose pierced at some point and maybe some more in my ears.
