I don't have many facial expressions in real life.
I force smiles for photos, but people always say "Why weren't you smiling 8u"
I once had an art teacher tell me my facial structure was perfect.
My bestie wanted to draw me for a project and she told me that.
But I have issues telling whether or not someone is genuine or blowing smoke up my ass >~>
When I get really down, I try to think of all the people who have messed up faces and would kill to have mine so I should be more grateful.
Apparently that sounds bad, but it makes me feel better.
I'm afraid of taking things for granted because they can be snatched away so quickly.

That's somewhat fair enough.

It's true. Very refreshing to think like that. I suppose on the grand scale, if you don't look disfigured or sick or ugly, you're probably ahead of the majority of the earth's population. Being plain is probably really an advantage that most people would want.

I usually prefer to blend in over anything.
But sometimes I wish I had makeup or looked prettier.
But considering my anxiety, I think people will notice and remember me or worse xD
I actually went to GED graduation and we had practice the day before.
I didn't talk to anyone and just sat in silence.
I got my hair cut the next day and went to graduation.
This lady was like "You cut your hair it's so cute 8D"
And that freaked me out.
She remembered me and that I had longer hair.
There was like 30 other people there o_O

I'd like to wear make up but then I don't really know how to apply it, etc. So I don't wear it. Also it's really expensive

I'm too lazy for makeup, so I only wear it on special occassion. and maybe once in a blue moon I'll be in the mood to put it on, but not too much. Like just some concealer, powder and mascara.
And yes, it's expensive, ridiculously at times

I learn through YouTube, literally. I just find someone with make-up that I like and watch them put it on. Then I try it on myself to match them.
You can get good quality stuff at lower prices if you know which brands are good. Also good for you in particular because everyone's skin is different. Like my foundation is £4 and my powder is £3 from the same range, because they just work really well on my skin. Those both last me six months or more depending on how often I wear them.

I used to wear makeup every day years ago. There was a phase where I was crazy about makeup from japan. I still have some unopened products left from Japan.

But somewhere along the way I went downhill and now it is just way too much hassle for me and I walk around looking like a hobo.
I only really put on makeup for special occassions. Sometimes when my skin is extremely bad I will put on foundation to cover it up, but usually I feel like I cannot be bothered to do even that.
But I never really "liked" wearing makeup, always feld like I could feel the foundation on my skin (I have very oily skin, so everything will start melting away after a while), always feel like my eyes are watery and itchy when I wear eye makeup, my lips are horribly dry when I wear lipstick. So I am kind of glad I reached a point in my life where I seem to have lost all vanity (or self-respect) and just walk around looking gross.
My only insecurity really stays my bad skin. Even at 34 I have the exact same bad skin I had as a teenager.

I used to wear quite bit of make up n stuff.
As my eyesight got even worse
I've given up on doing certain things myself any more.
Rather go to pay someone to do my eyebrows eye lashes etc
It is quicker and last much longer.
Saves me squinting in the mirror going wtf is that haha
All I need to do is throw on the mascara
pretty much all I wear now
Now that I cut my hair and I'm forced to dye it due to greys
I actually look 10 times younger lol
There really isn't any need for make up and stuff.
Silly we spend our youth trying to look older and our old age to look younger!
