and i don't understand what you meant by "nothing fell off"...xD;; i was a bit concerned when you said nothing "fell off"....XD;;

what I did was draw out the design on my kindle, sent it to my pc to print out, then used my new knife set to cut it out.

First attempt, the a in Happy, wasn't connected to anything so it.. was a goner... xD I added a lady bug to the a to connect it to the first p.

Second attempt, the flower tore.

Third.. other parts tore.. =A=

Fourth.. the y in Happy fell off... QAQ

more attempts had stuff tearing... x-x

This morning I found something a friend from North Carolina made be before I moved back to ohio.. It's pretty similar to what I did there with the mother's day thing.. and I remember being interested in that and trying it myself back then. We used pens back then.. constantly running over the same spot till it tore cleanly, now I have the knife-ys!
