We have it backwards, nearly everyone has a microwave oven but regular ones are really rare.
I need one so bad, there's a whole range of cooking that's unavailable to me and it makes me crazy.

I went to get a thank you present for my dad because he put in 300 hours for my sister and I to get our licences !

And funny how you said to get ice cream cause my bf suggested that XD !!

And Kuuki, of course! for the next year the rate of deaths/ crashes for me skyrockets so I am going to be extremely careful! And I have seen what a crash can do to someone, so it's very important to me to drive safely.

Personally, I am perfectly okay. Lazing about before going to uni.

Kuuki - fruits alcohol is something I cannot deal with. Do not like the taste of any of that at all.
And while I am not in Japan, I totally know what it feels like to live without an oven. I have one now, but in my first semester I was in a tiny room that had the bare necessities. Oven did not count as one.

CONGRATULATIONS! Do you also already have your own car or will that come sometime in the future?

Well, mostly. They only lost one raft, anyhow, which was pretty amazing considering the state of some of them!
(I'm VERY grateful they get along so well. Makes all of us kids' lives a lot easier. Well, it had more of an impact when we were all younger, but it's still nicer now for family events that we can just still get everyone together without having to worry about taking sides or taking turns and whatnot)

My sister and I were VERY lucky to get new cars!!
(our older sisters got second hand cars)
The reason was because second hand car prices have risen, and for the extra couple of K you might as well get a brand new car and the added benefits of new cars too!

That sounds great honestly!

I do find it amazing that they get along. My parents broke up years back and honestly I still wouldn't know what to do if I get married. The simple fact of them being in the same room would probably cause a fight.

rebecca - Well my uni starts in like half an hour :'D I'm just lying in bed rn. It officially ends on the 13th I think but since I still have exams and a mandatory internship in a school after, that seems like a lie.

Amazing! My parents would have never bought us cars. Wouldn't even fit in the driveway.

We have 6 cars in the driveway ... (and one [sometimes we can squeeze 2] in the garage).
My sister and I were very lucky, before my dad got into an accident he was able to start saving money and over years he saved enough for us to afford cars.

Yeah, my family all super poor. There was no saving for cars.

Congrats on your license! I got mine and driving is super stressful. lol.
