Our grass was literally dead and crispy and hard and I'm not a Botanist, but I'm sure grass shouldn't be that way 8,u

Sounds like how the grass is where I live.. has been for ages
my entire state is I think officially on a drought.
And our poor farmers :(

We've been having rain too. I even had the first day in a couple of months when I could bear to sit inside with the door closed instead of getting air in :D

It scares me when there's droughts because I've seen people toss lit cigarettes out car windows =__=
But it's thundering now so we might get more rain today.
It felt so nice outside last night.
Cool wind blowing.
It's been 100 - 109 °F (37 - 42 °C) for weeks now xD
And as much as I hate the heat, some days the sun felt nice on my skin ._.
I wish there was a way to help control weather so we'd stop getting earthquakes and floods and stuff >~>
My favorite weather is dark, gray and chilly.

Its only in the 80s where I am, and even thought it gets down to the 70s at night I cant sleep without the fan on high. ; A;

will say 42c is extreme for me.. though I think we had it a few times in December/January this/last year.

We had 105°F this month and I think that's the most we had in Germany ever since temperatures were recorded.
It is finally cooling down a bit, around 85°F now - usually that would be warm too, especially for this time of the year, but compared to the 105° we had before, it now actually feels quite cold. I am wearing socks today.

It's cooling down here now too, I switched back to leggings instead of shorts while at home XD I agree that normally I would think it was hot, but in comparison it's not so bad.
We had a BBQ last weekend and my parents lit a match, used that to light the BBQ, shook the match out and threw it onto dry grass... I facepalmed so hard. Thankfully it was actually out, although when they moved it there was still a black splotch on the grass where the remaining heat was almost enough to set it on fire.

It feels decent in the mornings and at night.
I usually take my cat outside at night and my dogs get to play fetch.
I don't want them doing stuff in the heat.
I don't like heat. I really hate it. But I can tolerate it. I've lived here my whole life, so the high temperature is normal to me xD;
