I looked at one of those links and it was super complex. But I did get that currently the waste is only recyclable once. And then you still have a TON of toxic waste that takes years and years to be not toxic enough to throw away. So more research is obviously needed in order to make it a good choice in power.


I've never bought the refills either. I wonder if most of them are interchangeable.

Well I did agree that it needs to researched.

Ah well that said even if there's still waste going to the ground or wherever they put it, it's less waste than say over 50 years ago. or something like that.

Yeah, those links sounded pretty much like what I remembered - it's an improvement of the situation, but not really a solution yet.

I keep waiting for that "Colony on Mars!" guy to start talking about sending 'rubbish runs' of spent fuel rods and other dangerous wastematter into the sun.

I feel like shipping stuff off to the sun would be good for getting rid of it, but a ridiculously enormous waste of gas.
