Not sure... I think the way the sun works at all though is that it's constantly going 'boom' at a much bigger rate/higher level than anything we could come up with, so it'd be a bit like worrying about the air movement caused by flapping your hand when you're standing in a hurricane.
But that physics teacher really loved to make everything sound super dramatic, so he might've been exaggerating for effect and I've got it all wrong.

I want to buy or trade for these knuffels:
Earth Gen 18, Light Gen 19, Fire Gen 21, Air/Light/Water Gen 22, Light Gen 23, Earth/Light Gen 25, Darkness Gen 26.
Please PM me if you can help!

No, it would be fine. The sun is like a million times bigger than the earth. Even if we shipped a vat of toxic waste the size of the earth at the sun it would be too small to cause any severe reaction.
But the sun is constantly having small booms. They're called solar flares. If they're big enough they can cause some problems with tech on earth. It makes internet go a little wonky and makes channels on cable go fuzzy. -used to work at internet and cable company so I know-
Good analogy Akili!
My physics teacher gave us a ton of worksheets and taught us nothing. It sucked.

I'm still not sure our governments would be willing to send our waste to the sun..

They wouldn't. It doesn't make sense. It's not cost effective.
It was just a thought someone had.

if we really had to be able to manage our waste, world markets would have to go. it's only if markets are local that stuff won't have to be packaged not to be spoilt over long distances

That's harder, to my mind. That's an ongoing, you have to live with it forever thing, instead of one single moment that's the exception instead of the rule.

I don't think we'd need to completely do away with global markets.
I think it's possible to recycle stuff. As long as we used sustainable packaging on the local stuff.
I wish there was one of those 0 waste stores around here. It would be nice.
Are you mixing it with something or having it by itself?

Interesting.
I might have to try that one day.
I like white Cubans. They're rum, milk, and Kahlua. So good.
