I've watched Moana, and I LOVED it! I want to watch it again XD

Atm ... I have no exams for art
But I should have one this year because I am doing a theory subject. (the other ones were all practical!!) (Live drawings and then still life)

Think I'll wait, then. Surround sound isn't really a big issue when you're hearing isn't so hot. :)

I watch things in other languages semi often.

And I always use subtitles when possible.

I hate tests. They're so stressful.

I usually only watch anime in Japanese (when I have to). Like I usually try and get it in english if I can~
(of course I read the subtitles TTwTT)

and tests suck TwT

Like I just never see anyone use that colour often and it just looks so nice :3

I prefer the Japanese version on anime because the subtitles don't match up if you put the dub on. And for me who's only hard of hearing and not deaf it's distracting.

Me too. I super appreciate them.
Though I don't appreciate when they're just the words and no sound effects.

Oh, I haven't seen Moana yet either, but from what I've heard it's supposed to be great. Thanks for the remark on the german synchro Lulu (may I shorten your name to that?), now I know to definitely watch it in english :D
I do that with most movies anyway, with the occasional exception. I'm glad that in swiss cinemas you usually have both options :) Although I sometimes find it distracting to have subtitles that don't match the audio language. But one learns to ignore that, I guess - or take it as an additional source of fun and discussion topic afterwards.
I watched phantastic beasts in german, because I know all the harry potter lore in german, since I got into it as a child and I even have the phantastic beasts book with all the creature names in german, so there really wasn't a choice. It was so much fun sitting there with the book in the break of the movie comparing the creatures to their descriptions and trying to figure out what some of the ones whose names weren't mentioned yet were :)

I find it fascinating when sometimes the subtitles give information you never get in another fashion.
Like when a name for a minor extra/character is given in the subtitles and never mentioned aloud.

I can't imagine how annoying it would be to understand two languages and have the conflicting stuff going on.

So confusing.


I like extra information! It makes life better.
