i still want those fairy lights. o3o some under, some up top. Bit i have 2 other lights saved for 'to buy later' just in case o3o

is it bad that i kinda wanna get some little ghost shrimp to eat the 'shedded' root bits o3o they would in turn make water gasses that the plants would eat oAo

um...i don't know? but if you're all in for making a tank, you'd need something to clean up all the junk that the filter doesn't get. so getting something that will actually eat that stuff would be a good idea.

it'll take me a verrry long time to get enough for a gene in the gem shop lol.

yea this kind of tank .. the way its made, you can't put a filter on it.. i have an old cat water fountain water pump in there just to make a current so the water doesn't go stagnant >x<

i think the light on that old cell is dying o3o

yeahh so no filter, you need something to get the gunk out and pump some air/oxygen into it so you don't kill whatever's in the tank...xD;;

aww....time to get those lights then!

fish waste = food for plants which turns into oxygen! nature is amazing oAo

Also gonna get this little hand pump thingy to clean up what the shrimpies don't eat.

well they can't get rid of EVERYTHING so better get prepared lol.

I moved the tank over to the window, as I need the space it was at for when my PC cleaning tool gets here.. I don't wanna blow dust into the tank >A<

The tools will be here tuesday or so the ups tracker says.. (was suppose to be here friday but stuff got delayed)

Gotta clean out the PC, install the new hard drives, clone the main OS drive to the SSD drive x-x lots of PC maint to do


I'm sure the marimo would like some natural light, and since the sun doesn't hit my window directly, it's perfect, as they can't do direct sun light ovo

yeah direct sunlight is always better for live plants. xD

i know nothing about pc maint. xD;;
