That's how I found out someones name from some show or something XD
It was on netflix and both my bf and I had no idea the character even had a name!! (Cause I am pretty sure they only had the one line or two, minor character)

Hm, that has rarely ever happened to me. Then again, I usually don't turn on subtitles if I watch at home, and in the cinema it's different languages, so I try to ignore them as much as possible.
When my bf and I watched doctor strange, some of the german subtitles were really weird, like very different connotations to some part of the dialogue. I don't remember the details anymore though.

I really want to watch Doctor strange!!!
Like we need to know what happens in that movie for the next Thor!!

Go ahead and watch it then :) I liked it quite a bit. Visually appealing, and some very funny moments. Not the greatest story of all times imo, though, we had some issues with the behaviour of one of the characters. But it was very funny!

I am pretty sure it's not in cinemas anymore ... TTwTT So I gotta wait till its on dvd or netflix~~
Batman vrs Superman finally got on netflix so I started watching it .... omg it was so boring that my bf and I had to stop it. I'll try to watch it again if I could.

I don't think I'm going to watch Doctor Strange. It's super whitewashed and I do not like that.

Ah, I hadn't realized it isn't available on DVD and the like yet.
We watched Batman vs Superman just at home, too. I didn't find it bad enough to stop watching, but overall a little... pointless, I guess?

They took all the Asian characters and made them white. White washing.

It's a common problem.

Oh really? As I recall it, there were quite a few asians, but it's been some time since I saw it. But I don't know the source material, so I don't know which characters were originally asian.
