I make lists. Usually to-do lists because I'm getting overwhelmed by how much I have to do.
And then if I'm so overwhelmed that even that doesn't help, I create lists for my lists that walk me step by step through everything I need to do. Like instead of 'clean bathroom' it would break down to 'wipe mirror; put bleach in toilet; empty bin' etc etc.
And when I have my lists written out, I can prioritise by deadline, or by which things are going to be easiest or hardest, or even an arbitrary thing like which ones I want to do most, and I just put numbers by each one so I can follow in order.
