Didn't sound me like that before. But why do you view every cartoon that has a meaning as a drama? And maybe those brainless shows make people become ignorant. I don't know, but is trying to do or change the world for at least bit better wrong or pointless even if it might not work out? At least i want to try.

I can't find any line in which I said I don't care, I want to be ignorant, or that whatever you're talking about is meaningless? o.O

Because as soon as I see that 'meaning' it goes drama for me, or it's brought in such a sickening 'be-good-kids-and-the-world-will-be-at-your-feet' way that it just makes me headdesk. Good luck solving that.

I don't think it's the shows that make people ignorant. Those shows are made by people who are, apparently, already ignorant. So the source is coming from somewhere else.
And by the way, even those shows have got their morales really, even if you refuse to see them. Yes, they're covered in a thick layer of shit, but to take Family Guy as an example, Stewie and Brian have a pretty tight relationship and it's their friendship that gets them out of threatening situations, even though at first sight they appear to hate each other.
Peter barely gets rewarded for the brainless shit he does and has to say "Lois, you were right" quite a lot. Lois being the smarter wife.
As for discrimination? One of Peter's best friends is a paralyzed cop. Yes, they make fun of it every once in a while, but it's still Peter's best friend.
I don't even think you cán make a cartoon without kicking some of those clichés in because they're everywhere, they're what makes the story. As brainless as they may seem. If you bother to look, there's always something there.

If you want to try there's nobody to stop you, good for you!
But I'm just too exhausted to bother. My main goal right now is to get happy myself and once I've achieved that I'll see what else there is to do.

I also did not say you wrote that, it just sounded to me like that.

And to me those shows are at fault, well partly, and don't try convincing me they don't may affect someone. Or are you saying every kid is as smart as to understand those brainless meanings? There are a lot of children watching those shows and they just laugh about it yeah and adapt to those thinking, i have seen kids who though how "cool" it is to beat each other up.

And well it is sad then if you think of meanings as dramas because they are not.

Well good luck getting yourself happy!

I keep getting ice cream cones, and I think I have five or so sets already...I wonder if I'll have more sets this time around then I did for the last one.

True, I can always donate some of the sets to Aki's charity and give parts of them away for my feeding contest, which I need to find a way of making my mini wall of text easier for people to read.

Morning you guys :)

To the movie thing: I actually need both, distraction and a good story. If it isn't the case I will start doing other things while watching so it's not interessting enough for me.

I actually don't see any sense in the animes the studio produces you mentioned, but the story is good, distracting. But as everyone of the people in the world has a different taste we all have a different idea of 'interessting' oder 'good storyline', so everyone of us is right here :) And I think it's impossible to make every movie or series or cartoon something you can learn from. I like watching movies without sense sometimes as I don't have to think about anything by that.

Juliet, 10k is really cheap, I am sure someone will buy it soon :)

I also have many ice cream already ;)
