I can't handle stories of cruelty in general. My coworker was just looking about a pamphlet on how circuses mistreat their animals. >___< It's so horrible, I can't understand how someone could be so cruel to another living creature.

I remember seeing and reading about the dog that got duct taped. I am so glad she's doing better now, and that the guy who did it actually got punishment for it. :|

My neighbourhood has so many neglected dogs, it's terrible. Why get a dog if you're just going to leave them in your yard...?

Well, I wasn't there for the V-day 07 event. I just bought up the rares later. So I'm not actually sure.

Iunno tho. There's a lot of invisible cruelty in our lives. I mean, I'm sure most of us are omnivores. A lot of inhumane practices go into the meat and fishing industries, and they're ever-present in our lives while we "vote" with our forks.

That's true. I like finding places with humane treatment. ;x I know we specifically only carry meats that do. And like all of our tuna etc. is line caught.

Ah. They were still within the thousands when I got mine. I'm sorry about what happened with the auctions tho- They were mostly good to me, but it sucked what happened to you. >:C

Eh. I wish I could say the same, but I just can't afford it right now. :c It is a dream to be able to support small farms and stuff, tho.

I'm 'glad' work got busier. Time goes by faster tehn.

Most of the foods we buy are local... It's mostly cheaper to buy from the farms directly here. Especially strawberries and such... *drools*

I don't mind. It takes me quite a while to catch up and read and respond. But to be honest, I'm just glad the forum's picking up again... (even if it's only here or only while I'm away/at night)
