Talking of images, I remembered something else kind of funny: for some reason I've always had a really bad colour memory. So I might remember something perfectly, except that I could swear it was blue but it was actually red. I end up staring at things like, was this always this way? And everyone can tell me it was haha. The first time I really noticed how bad it was, I was playing a game where you had to identify Pokemon and it was a couple of years since I last played any of the games. I was sitting there like "was that one blue in the UK version too? Is that guy always yellow? I'm so confused :X"
I hope I never witness a crime or a car crash or something XD
"Officer, it was definitely a blue BMW."
"was it this one?"
"Oh yeah, that's right!"
"This one is green -___-"

@Moi: Nope, I suck at math XD Just really good with remembering phone numbers, code, pin numbers and other number sequences
@jacob: I've experienced this color confusion before but for me it's not on a big scale, just some brain haze probably.
But that reminded me of what happened before Christmas. My granny was asking me what to give my bf as a present, and she wondered if maybe a winter jacket would be an idea, but I told her he doesn't like them plus he has a nice coat he likes. A few hours later she comes to me and says she had found some nice male jacket in the closet and that we probably forgot we bought it (yeah, right). So I go to look in the closet and she's showing me this grey jacket and she goes: "see? it's nice, green and male jacket. Did you forget you bought it?" and I was like: "... gramps, it's grey, and it's yours XD" She was so confused xD

I don't have that issue with colors, surprisingly. I usually remember colors pretty good.
However, I can see them in my head, but I have issues finding them.
Like I had this awesome adoptable idea and I could see the colors in my head, but when I tried to color it - I couldn't.
I have trouble telling colors apart sometimes. Like with pens - I can't tell if ink is black or blue.
And a lot of the time, I can't tell colors apart on here.
Coffee and Black are hard for me to tell apart.
Red and Maroon are another one.
Ecru and Beige too.
I'm horrible with math. And the other day, my mom said I was good at math.
I was like "What the f o_O"
I'm horrible at math. I got mostly D's and F's xD

That's interesting! I usually don't have trouble telling colors apart here on kofk. The biggest issue are Ginger/Rose Gold and Beige/Lemon. And even now when I stare at the color palette, each of them is distictivey different from the other and I wonder why I even have trouble with them xD But when I see them on an avi I have to think twice to name the color. Sometimes Amethyst looks Violet to me as well, but again, they're totally different, obviously XD

I sometimes have trouble looking at an avi and figuring out what colour a certain item is when comparing it to the search by colour tabs. They are so small and so far away from the image, and the image has different tones around the colour which might change how it looks. I usually have to click on a background or something big so that I can see it next to the colour in the avi and then I can tell if they're the same or not.

I do the clicking on an item to have the comparison directly in the avi as well sometimes. But I can name quite many of our colours (except maybe the newest ones and some pinks that I don't care for) just by looking by now :)
Generally, some colours are close enough that they can be difficult to tell apart on small items, though. I most often have trouble with turquoise vs teal (on small items where the shadow colour is not very visible) or soft pink vs one of the reds, I think maroon. It depends heavily on what the soft pink is combined with though, with some other colours it's very clear and others make it look incredibly red. I probably can't distinguish Ginger and Rose Gold either, I wasn't even fully aware of ginger, I just had to look it up to see what you mean mem. But that's partly because of them just being so far outside my favourites zone ;) I have had no trouble with lemon vs beige yet, but then, I love both of them ;) Lemon is actually one of my favourites from the newer colours.
But I also like that we have some colours that are close to each other, it can make for nice gradient effects to combine them :)

I will take the items or just the color and put them side by side and sometimes still can't tell xD
I'm glad that most items have the labels, but not all of them do.
But I can usually get someone's opinion or I make it work.
I know I used to have one item off-colored because on my old computer - they were the same colors.
Then I got a new computer and they weren't xD

Moi, you make a good point, different monitors or even just different settings can make a huge difference with colours.
