Well, I totally understand being terrified of the ghost from The Grudge. Whenever my mind slips in imaginary scary images in my head, it's The Ring/Grudge ghosts most of the time. And I don't get full on hallucinations (it's just my mind kindly reminding me "you up to pee? hey, since you're up, do you remember that scary movie?!". Then it doesn't easily go away. I cannot imagine the terror if she thinks it's really happening to her.

She spent a while in Japan and she said that the house from the movie is real, which probably doesn't help soothe her.
I've heard it's real too, but never looked much into it.
But I know she's scared of the Kuchisake-onna too 8u
And she doesn't even believe in ghosts xD

When I was kid I saw one of those true crime trashy shows (which I still love to watch to be fair haha). I think it was about Jon-Benet Ramsay, or at least it was a very similar case (I can't tell whether it was about her or whether I remember this show and also remember seeing her photo and I'm conflating the two things). It had a segment that was like a reconstruction of events, and at one point a guy suddenly appears at her window, looking into her bedroom, before later he opens the window and snatches her. She sees him and she's scared but no one believes her, so later he can grab her.
Ever since I saw that, when I walk past a room in the dark, especially where the curtains are open in that room, I get convinced that there will be someone in the window. Even when I'm not on the ground floor. I can't bear to look up at the window just in case. I just walk past the door as quick as possible. Even now, nearly 30 years old, I get absolute chills walking past the open door of a dark room and my heart starts pounding.

Oh, I am interested in the actual Jon-Benet Ramsay case 8u
She was like two years younger than me, I think.
I have always wanted her murder to be solved.
I grew up listening to her case and the OJ Simpson one on the radio.
It threw my dad off because the report he had heard was she had a lot of bruises and that meant she was abused.
He said he ran to me and counted my bruises xD
That whole case was so fucked up, I don't know if they will ever solve it.
The crime scene was fucked up, evidence was ruined, etc.
I think they know who did it. But $$$$$$$$ 8u
But yeah, that's a good reason to be freaked out xD
I remember hearing this woman tell a true ghost story and she was in the shower and she was washing her hair so her eyes were closed.
When she opened them, a ghost was standing in the shower with her, staring at her.
Eversince then, I don't like closing my eyes for long in the shower.
And I get soap in my eyes occasionally but 8u

I used to get scared when I had to flush the toilet at night or when I was alone.
I found out other people were like that too o_O

I hate taking the plug out of the bathtub. I found the noise just creepy and a bit scary.

Yeah, surprise party of bathroom demons XD
I don't mind flushing the toilet at night, it only bothers me that the noise mght wake somebody up (which is probably me being hyper sensitive lol).
Taking the plug sounds like them bathroom demons really gasping for breath XD
