I love that. I know there are sites where you can spend your time to help solve cold cases. I would love to help out on those. I don't have the time to spend hours every night though. Some people actually do it and they manage to solve a few cases a year. Sometimes it's just as simple as finding a missing person case and matching it up with a Jane or John Doe.

I'm not smart enough to help xD
But I like reading about them.

I came across two girls.
One was killed while crossing the street and she's a Jane Doe.
One went missing and was never found.
They both looked similar, one went missing not long before the other died, they had the same glasses - but apparently aren't the same person ._.

I actually called my mom over and asked her if she's ever seen octagon glasses like the girls were wearing.
I've never seen those kinds of glasses before and since my mom grew up in the 70s, when the girl went missing and the other died - I asked her.
She said she's seen them before and she looked at the picture of the missing girl and said "I remember when that girl went missing U8"
My mom is really good with faces ._.
She constantly says "I know that women/man from somewhere >>"
And she can look at celebrity baby pictures and say who the celebrity is.

That's a super good skill. She could probably be a good cold case investigator :D

I'm really good with faces but my memory for names is awful. One time I saw this guy at the theatre, and I knew he was famous somehow, but I couldn't remember where from. I kept working on it and working on it, staring at him, trying to picture in my head how he would have looked when I saw him before, etc etc. Eventually, with the use of IMDB once I had managed to narrow it down some, I figured out it was Samuel from Heroes. It took me about two hours and by that time we were already leaving and he had gone XD So I didn't get the chance to meet him or anything. At least I can say I was in the same theatre as an actor from TV.
Which sounds stupid when I say it like that, because the actors in the play were also on TV, but... it seems like it's different when you're both in the audience XD

If only she didn't hate that kind of stuff xD
I will start telling her about crime things and she'll tell me to stop.
But her talent is really really cool.

My short term memory is screwed up so chances are I won't remember you or your name or your face or what you just told me.
But I remember stuff from when I was a kid.
Like I remember a day when I was six years old, what I was wearing, what movie I had seen, where I was, what I was doing ._.

But I tend to remember people sometimes. Like people on here. If we talk for a bit and they leave for years and come back - I'll remember them.
I've had people say it meant a lot to them because I remembered them.

That's still a cool story, though 8u
Even if you didn't get to talk to him or anything - you were still there and saw him.

I always found it funny how people want to meet celebrities they like and want to get pictures taken and stuff.
If I ever came near a celebrity I liked, I'd run away and hide xD

If it's someone I like, or someone really super famous, I lose my cool completely XD I met a racing driver I was a huge fan of a few times and each time was so cringey looking back, I just lost it haha.
Once I saw Bill Nighy in London. My head was like OH SHI-
I looked at him and then did a double take, and he was looking back at me so I know he saw it. So then I just kind of smiled and carried on walking because I immediately thought, oh man, he probably gets bothered by people all the time. But for like half an hour afterwards I was like I SAW BILL NIGHY AHHHHHHHHHHHHH and texted everyone I knew haha

Come to think of it, I see quite a few famous people in London. But usually they're just people I recognise, not that I'm a fan of, so I just kind of register them and let them pass by. Once we saw Russell Brand when I was with J, and it was really fun because he wanted to go and say something but he was too shy. Even though loads of other people were approaching him :D

I'm...really attracted to Asians. Like if they're near me, I freak out xD
I had an Asian doctor and I was so flustered when I had to see her.
And I had a nurse and an eye doctor that were Asian and I was flustered, especially since she had to get close to my face to check my eyes xD
So it was like:

Doctor: Let me check your breathing 8u
Me: u////////B

Nurse: Follow me 8D
Me: u////////B

Doctor: Let me look at your eyes 8u
Me: u////////B

My mom saw Ted Nugent at the store.
She saw him, he said hello to her, she said hello to him, came home, put groceries up, then said "THAT WAS TED NUGENT >8U"
And I was like "What ._."

I've never met anyone in famous that I know of.

You wanna read some funny stuff, you should look up Tony Hawk.
He comes across a lot of people that don't recognize him and it's funny xD

Husband and I were just talking about that the other day XD
There's two types of people when they meet a celebrity,

"OMG YOU'RE ___ "
or
"You kinda look like ___, anyone ever tell you that?"
XD

Oh yeah, I heard lots of funny stuff about Tony Hawk :D That sounds like the best kind of famous TBH. You get lots of money and recognition but also you can go to the store without getting harrassed XD

Omg I find Asian people attractive too. There's even a long-running joke about it in our house. Basically if there is a gay Asian guy on TV I will love him forever because a) hot and b) totally unavailable to me and therefore I can crush on them without making J feel jealous 8D I'll be cheering them on, for example on a reality TV show, and J is like "OH I WONDER WHY YOU PICKED THE GAY ASIAN TO SUPPORT" haha
