I need to test for metals x-x shrimpies can't have copper in the tank.

yeah maybe you've got some rust or something. iunno. i've never had funny tasting water. except at my grandmothers, i don't know WHAT that taste is but its not metal and its just...iunno how to explain it lol.

I'll go with rust.. seeing how my apartment building is over 70 years old and I still have the original sink/counter/flooring.. x'D

There were no shrimp fatalities today, tomorrow my pH, Nitrate, Nitrite and Ammonia tests come in.

I ordered some of that 'Prime' conditioner for aquarium water.. it was delivered with out it's bottle cap! It has that foil cover over the bottle mouth so I do have a full bottle but no cap. Need that cap to measure out how much to use apparently.
I contacted Amazon and they were all "We send new bottle, you keep that..." so.. free bottle? o3o,


These shrimp.. the LOVE the pellets I give them =/ run around with them, play tug-o-war with them... keep away... x-x guys.. just leave it in your dish! you even took the blanched zucchini out of the dish!! I wanted to count the numbers.. make sure all 10 were still there...

ah i see. it could always be something else but....probably rust is most likely.

were there shrimp fatalities already? D: and yay, free products? i need to get a replacement for my ipod touch, the top half (where the glass/touch screen is) is literally raised up from the bottom half. xD;;

I got my new bottle prime.. it has its cap, but.. the foil on the top was busted? I gave up.. =A= not gonna bother complaining. I don't want to look like someone who just wants free shiz.. i have the cap! >:x

I smashed the pellets into a powder today.. i didn't want them to run with their food... they did it anyway.. balled up the powder into a ball and ran off.. =A=,

my pothos plant... i just took a look at it.. there is a leaf that wasn't there yesterday.. o-o it normally takes like 3 days for those to pop out and unfurl. x-x where'd you come from?!

hm...nah. nothing with live animals. plants maybe. or something artsy. my sister is more productive in that sense, she's been on a baking/sometimes cooking spree during quarantine, she's also doing some art projects like fabric painting shoes and making scrub caps for her boyfriend, since he's a nurse.

we used to have an aquarium. but eventually, we all got older, all the fish had died eventually and noone wanted to keep it up. so that's gone lol.
