Actually I came to the same conclusion as Becca did... I just mean it's not always logical what you mean, since you asked about a series or sage, and that's what I usually refer to books, not TV. So my first thought was books.
Some people may get confused if you're being unclear, that's all.

And I don´t see, why the question Series or sage should both lead to books.

I only mean they are used in reference to both, tv OR books That's all I mean.
