It's handy tbh. And the one in the kitchen is a wired one while the other is battery operated

It is a working one. I know certain states in Australia are changing it to be wired only though. But for some houses that's hard to do and expensive..

And we rent this flat so the landlord is the one who replaces the battery though we replaced it last time cause it kept beeping to say it was dying
